Discovery Package - A concise report exploring one line/name of your
Scottish family tree as far back as possible, usually to around the late
1700's. So for example we could start with your father, then go back to
his father, and his father, and so on, until no more records can be found.

Thistle Package - This package is ideal for those of mixed descent, so if
only one of your grandparents has Scottish roots or was born in Scotland
then this package is for you. We will investigate one grandparents FULL
Scottish descent AS FAR BACK AS POSSIBLE, including both male and
female lines. The findings of the research will be presented in a report
form, with research carried out for each direct descendant, complete
with an overall family tree.

Tartan Package - If one of your parents was from Scotland (or if two
grandparents were born there) then this package is the perfect choice.
We will investigate your parent or both grandparents FULL Scottish
ancestry AS FAR BACK AS POSSIBLE, usually to around the late 1700s.
You will receive a full report, research into each direct descendant,
complete with an overall family tree.

Saltire Package - This package will provide you with the most
comprehensive and complete picture of your Scottish family history. As
with the Tartan package we will investigate one parent’s full Scottish
ancestry as far back in time as possible but as well as consulting the
standard genealogical sources (birth, marriage, death, and census
records) we will roll up our sleeves and seek out those harder to find
records. Typically we will provide you with details from (where
appropriate) sources such as statistical accounts, directories, maps, poor
law records, obituaries, relevant newspaper stories, etc. On top of all of
this we will also visit some of the key locations relevant to your direct
family tree, i.e., burial places, your ancestor’s former home or place of
work, and we will take digital photographs that help to bring you closer
to your Scottish ancestors.
